I hope that you're all doing great. Unfortunately, I'm sick, but I had that one coming.
Last week, I tried to quit smoking and for some reason after two days I crave for a cigarette, so
now my throat is like: ''Ow, you wanna play it like that, huh?! Just wait and see...'' Hahaha.

 

If I'll succeed, this new mission of mine, I'm becoming Straight-Edge again.

When I was 13, I started  listening to punk/rock music and Straight-edge is this group of people, who
don't smoke, don't do drugs and don't drink alcohol. I'm not against it, but I just feel that I don't need
those things in my life.

 

Anyways, back to the clothes. Last week I was really thinking about what my style is all about.

Am I a grunge lover or a vintage beast?
Well, let me tell you this. I'm not gonna label myself nor my style.
Yes, I do love all black errrthing and I wear a lot of vintages clothes, but I guess that is just me.
I'm not just this or that. I'm like Hannah Montana. I've got the best of both worlds.

I do love vintage and I do love grunge.
So, with this look, I tried to combined that. I think it looks really old school with a little twist of darkness.

Helleurr! Everybody,

 

How are y'all doing? I'm doing great. Yesterday I had a day off. There is no better start to begin your

week with. Today I had class and we had to make Sign language videos about the weather. It was very funny.

 

Last year I did a dance show and we had to buy our own costumes. I had this character Moira, who I created. You can compare it with an alter ego.

When I was in London I saw this dress and I was yes this is it. Too bad I did not used the dress for the show, so I styled it for my daily wear.

 

The Coltrane boots just finished the look. It think it gives me the emo/gothic/dark queen touch, which I love.

I know it's almost Halloween, hahaha. So beware for some crazy dark outfits.
Too bad we don't really celebrate Halloween here in Holland.

Helleur Eeverybody,

 

I hope that everyone had a great weekend. I know I did.
yesterday I went to World Deaf Day. It was so inspiring, I'm very glad that I went.

Today I had to work, I was super tired, but my colleague made me laugh  and you know what the say:''Time flies, when you're having fun!''

 

The 90''s are totally coming back, and I loveeee it. Not just because I was born in the 90's(Ok, maybe), but the music, the clothes, the cartoons. I loved it all.
I think everything and everyone was less out of control back then. That is something that I miss.

 

The jacket is one of my vintage finds and I love my jacket. It's big, It's comfy, what do I want more?

 

I wore these shoes a few times now, and they walk like heaven(If heaven could only walk)
I'm glad I bought these instead of the Spice Girls shoes from Buffalo.
I think those shoes still have to wait.

 Helleur, Helleur, is it me or won't it just stop raining??
I do have to say that it gives that cosy feeling. When you just want to stay in bed, with a hot"
cup of tea and watch your tv shows all day. Hmm, anyways I do hope that the weather will get better.
Two weeks ago I bought these cute boots from Nelly.com. I haven't worn them very often, but I do know that they're so comfy. I can walk on them all day. Of course at the end of the day, my feet are longing for my indoor flip flops, but I think we all have that desire haha.

The legging is from New Yorker and while I'm not a big fan of leggings, I did need to buy these.
I love the print and the fact that I can combine this with a lot of different tops.

Helleur everybody,

Ppff, what a rainy weather, this weekend. Last week, I could still wear my shorts and tanktops and now I have to find my fall clothes again. I really think the ''summer'' is over here In Holland.
Such a pitty, but hey!, a new reason for me to go shopping(hihihi)
Because my new school has started, I found it hard to give my blog any attention, but I'm a woman of schedules, so I promise that I will post an outfit every Tuesday and Friday. And everything that is extra, just in between.

A few weeks ago, I bought a skirt at Vila. I didn't worn it yet, because I didn't know how to style it.
Then I saw my Vintage jumpers and I was like: yeah, that could totally work.
So I did. Of course you can pair these skirts with a lot of fashion items, but I still wanted it to be me.

Little shopping spree

Yeah, school has started and while I´m trying to get a rhythm in my daily life, I bought a few items that I needed(kuchkuchkuch)
The picture is horrible, but i bought a new jacket. I´ve got a lot of jackets, but they´re all too thin. It´s starting to get really cold here in Holland, so yeah i bought a nice black jacket, with fake black leather sleeves.
I bought a black cardigan. Super comfy and cute.
I also got 2 scarves, a new aztec bag, a hosiery, cute leopard sneakers and fluffy house slippers.
For school I bought the Dutch Sign Language Dictionary.
Because everything at school is digital, i bought a Chromebook. It´s totally different from a normal Windows/MAC book, but after you practice a little, you will love this thing.

Who needs a degree, when you're schoolin' life

Yup!, tomorrow is going to be my first day at Uni.
Aaaagghh, I'm so excited and scared at the same time. I'm going to study Teacher Sign language/
Sign interpreter. This week we're  not allowed to speak. Everything has to be in Sign Language.
Well, I don't know that much yet, so that is going to be fun(yikes)
I'm super glad that the 90's are totally coming back. When it comes to clothes and music I find that
one of the greatest years(yeah, I was also born in the 90's) The overalls are back, the platforms are back, can't wait to put my Spice Girls cd on as well haha.
I combined the overall with a crop top, but you can also wear this with a cute Jumper/sweater/hoodie in the fall with a nice pair of hosieries under it.
I'm also wearing my Queen of Darkness Harness again, I just love it.
The shoes are pretty comfy, but I do have to look out where I put my feet on the street(that rhymes)
I think that counts for all platform shoes or heels.
